Wearing Wrap me Cool in Bali, climbing stairs - hot work!

Wearing my wet scarf in Bali when we were climbing stairs and I was pregnant

A very modest adjustment to my wardrobe/travelling accessories is this cooling scarf by Wrap Me Cool. Mine has been a saviour while we’ve been in Bali. It’s pretty simple really, being a large square piece of cotton that seems to be just the right size to cover the body but lightweight enough not to drag you down when wet, but the large amount of coverage offers good sun protection which is great for a pregnant belly or slung over my shoulders.

Bali with Wrap me Cool over my pregnant belly

I’m currently 19 weeks pregnant and feeling hotter than usual but Bali climbs to 29-30 degrees celsius most days.

I’ve been taking my wrap me cool everywhere with me and it’s been amazing, I don’t know where I would have been without it, especially climbing all the cliffside stairs here, it’s hot work.

I love wrapping mine around my belly or draping it around my neck or over my shoulders, but it’s also great wrapped around my head much like a turban and for wiping my face and neck. When it’s drenched it seems to stay wet for at least an hour, but that also depends on how hot the weather is where you are. When it dries out, just find a tap, carry a water bottle or dip in the ocean or the pool, and keep going – it really is so easy and it doesn’t take much water either.
